Programs

The Portland Parks & Recreation Department is continuing our Athletic Fields Advertising program in 2026. The goal of this program is to use the field fencing at the Portland Recreational Complex to promote beneficial sponsorships while raising revenue that may be used to enhance and develop the park/ball field facilities.

The Town of Portland may approve permit applications submitted by Individual Businesses for the placement of advertisement signs in available locations at the Portland Recreational Complex baseball fields.

Interested businesses may submit a company logo and an Athletic Fields Advertising Application to the Parks and Recreation Office before the deadline of March 20, 2026 to ensure that your company’s sign will be displayed for the full duration of this program. Businesses can submit their application online by "registering" for this program. Applications can also be submitted in person at the Parks and Rec. Office or by mail. Logos must be submitted digitally.

Signs will be purchased by the Parks and Rec. Department.

Funds:
Program funds will be deposited into the Parks and Recreation Department's Property Rental Revenue Account. Expenditures may be capital improvement or operating budget projects. Signs shall be removed and stored by the Town at the end of every Park Season (end of November).
